Overview

Major Food Group's first branded residential tower: a 650-foot, copper-framed tower by ODP Architects on Biscayne Bay in Edgewater, with 70 half-floor, full-floor, duplex and penthouse residences, interiors by Charles & Co and a private club serviced by the team behind Carbone.

Villa Miami rises about 650 feet from a bayfront corner at NE 29th Street in East Edgewater, with Biscayne Bay on two sides of the site. Developed by Terra and One Thousand Group with Major Food Group, the tower pairs a copper-colored exoskeleton by ODP Architects with a faceted glass amenity podium. Interiors are by Vicky Charles of Charles & Co, and the gardens by Enea Landscape Architecture connect to the planned Miami Baywalk. Moss Construction is the general contractor.

The residences

There are 70 residences across 55 floors, every one with terraces at both its east and west ends for sunrise and sunset views. Villa Mezzo half-floor homes have three or four bedrooms in roughly 2,940 to 2,970 square feet of interior space. Villa Piano full-floor homes have four or five bedrooms and nearly 5,900 interior square feet, and Villa Doppio duplexes offer six bedrooms over two floors with a private elevator. At the top, the three-level Villa Triplo penthouse covers more than 15,000 square feet on levels 53 to 55, with its own pool terrace, gym and sauna.

Homes open from private foyers to 10-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. Kitchens are designed by Mario Carbone, with CornuFé ranges, Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, pasta cookers, Taj Mahal quartzite and Italian cabinetry in green or cream lacquer. Primary baths have oversized soaking tubs set along the windows.

The Copper Club and Major Food Group

Major Food Group programs and services the building. The ground floor is planned for a two-level MFG restaurant and bar with a bayfront terrace. Above it, the Copper Club fills levels 3 to 5 with a residents' dining level and great room, a boardroom, screening and game rooms, a family lounge, a fitness center with yoga and boxing studios, and a spa inspired by Italian thermal baths with plunge pools, sauna, steam and treatment rooms beside an outdoor pool deck. An estate manager and in-house curator handle reservations, events and household requests, and residents receive priority access across MFG restaurants. A private dock and a rooftop helipad are planned, subject to permits and approvals.

Status

The tower broke ground in December 2024 and had passed its 37th floor by May 2026, with completion anticipated in late 2027.
